(01) Story

I've sat in three different chairs: operations, technology and product. Each one taught me how a company really works, from the systems underneath to the people who keep it moving. At Trillet I helped grow the business from zero to seven-figure ARR, and I've managed teams of 20+.

As CIO I specialised in voice AI. I spent my time hands-on with frontier models, testing what each new one could do and leading the R&D on how to use it across the business, so the whole company got better as the models did.

But product is where I do my best work, and the part I care about most is the part every user touches. Onboarding is the only feature everyone uses. The impression it leaves sets the tone for everything that follows. Get it right and people forgive a lot. Get it wrong and the best features in the world go unused.

So I sweat it. Aggressive, page-by-page optimisation of the product and its navigation has lifted sign-ups, onboarding completion and trial conversions, and I've helped bring churn down from a peak of 30% to under 14%.

These days I work with founders and teams as a fractional CPO, helping them find the product, shape how it feels, and build the team that ships it.
